How to Use This Tool
- Upload one or more images.
- Choose "Percentage" to scale relative to each image’s own size, or "Exact dimensions" for a specific pixel size.
- In exact mode, pick a preset or type a width and height, and choose whether to maintain aspect ratio.
- Each image’s new dimensions appear automatically — download individually or all at once.
How It Works
Each image is drawn onto an off-screen canvas at the calculated target size and re-encoded in its original format. In percentage mode, both dimensions scale by the same factor. In exact mode with aspect ratio locked, the image is scaled to fit entirely within your target box without cropping or stretching.
Example
A 4000 × 3000 photo resized to fit within 1920 × 1080 with aspect ratio locked becomes 1440 × 1080 — scaled down evenly so nothing is stretched.
Benefits
- Resize an entire batch to consistent dimensions at once.
- Presets for common sizes like HD and social media squares.
- Aspect ratio protection prevents stretched, distorted photos.
Important Notes
Enlarging an image beyond its original size can make it appear soft or blurry, since no new detail is created. For best results, resize down from a larger original rather than scaling up a small image.
