How to Use This Tool
- Upload one or more JPG, PNG, or WebP images.
- Choose the format you want to convert to.
- Adjust quality for JPG or WebP output, if needed.
- Download each converted image, or all of them as a ZIP.
How It Works
Each image is drawn onto an off-screen canvas, then re-encoded in the target format using the browser’s built-in image encoder. Converting to JPG flattens transparency onto a white background, since JPG has no alpha channel.
Example
A PNG screenshot with a transparent background, converted to WebP, keeps its transparency and is often 30–70% smaller than the original PNG.
Benefits
- Convert between JPG, PNG, and WebP in one place.
- Batch convert multiple files at once.
- No upload — conversion happens on your device.
Important Notes
Converting to JPG permanently removes transparency (replaced with white). Converting a JPG to PNG or WebP will not restore quality lost from earlier JPG compression, since that data is already gone.
